Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) is a new public institution created to transform Rwanda’s health sector by providing high-quality health care, upholding Rwanda’s principles of equity, and creating long-term financial sustainability through new business development.

The RBC comprises a tertiary referral hospital, a medical research center, the national referral laboratory, an agency responsible for coordination and quality implementation of national health policies, all national agencies responsible for Rwanda’s medical supply chains and facility infrastructure, a health communications center, and a business development unit.

By promoting world-class health care, research and education, the RBC endeavors to become an engine of prosperity for this dynamic and rapidly developing country.
