ActionAid Tanzania works in partnership with local people and local communities. We believe that working alongside them, we can more effectively tackle the causes as well as the symptoms of poverty.

Through joint action, the poor and marginalized are empowered to voice their own concerns and participate in poverty eradication interventions.

We believe that everyone has the right to live a life of dignity and so we work to secure those rights in rural and impoversished areas of Tanzania. We focus our work in the areas of education, agriculture and food security and HIV/AIDS.
