With over 80 years serving the local and international market, we are one of the country’s most beloved brands. The company was acquired in September 2013 through a local and international partnership. Our international staff, with a combined 82 years of experience in the beverage industry, collaborates with 549 local employees at our two production facilities in Addis Ababa and our vineyard in Merti Jeju, Upper Awash. Job Title: CEO Office Executive Assistant

Duty Station: Lideta branch

Reports to: CEO    

Job summary

Responsible for Assisting the CEO, CFO, Directors, the Board, other Corporate representatives in areas of advanced administrative, secretarial, translation, facilities, reception, communication, analysis and reporting works.      

Main Responsibilities

  • Under minimum supervision and acting on own initiative, performs diverse and advanced administrative and secretarial support for an Executives of the organization. 
  • Independently gathers, compiles and analyses information from multiple sources, and prepares a variety of complex reports, manuals, or agendas. 
  • Maintains sensitive files and records for CEO.  Reviews and answers mail and inquiries on own initiative and determines within established guidelines if executive action is required. 
  • Refers routine matters to appropriate parties for action and follows up to ensure proper disposition.
  • Communicates with executive, administrative and line management to gather and convey information pertaining to Executive’s responsibilities. 
  • Answers telephone calls and tactfully handles inquiries and/or refers to appropriate party. 
  • Arranges and makes notifications of appointments and travel reservations/arrangements. 
  • Interfaces with clerical or secretarial staff from within or outside the function.  May have contact with firms, organizations or individuals from outside the company.     

Job Requirements:

  • BA in Management, Business Administration, or other related field of study
  • Seven years of a progressive experience in out of which 3 years in the same position in corporate or multinational company with experience in successfully assisting the CEO.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
  • Experience of building networks, resulting in securing significant new opportunities for the organization
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellence in written and spoken English
  • Good computer skills (particularly Excel, Word and databases, Power Point, ERP)
