AAR Insurance
Nairobi, Kenya

Company Description:

When AAR started operating in 1984, our primary business was evacuation of medical and accident casualties, both by road and air. As our membership increased, so did the needs of our clients, creating more opportunities to comprehensively provide healthcare packages for our clients.

Our flexibility, innovation and readiness to respond to the needs of our clients made us the leading healthcare company in East Africa and in 2012 we evolved into two independent companies; AAR Healthcare Ltd which provides quality and affordable medical services through its clinic network, and AAR Insurance Ltd which offers a wide range of medical and non-medical insurance products.

Today, AAR Insurance is a licensed financial services provider in Kenya and a member of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) with presence across the country through its intensive branch and broker network.

AAR Insurance is not the typical insurance company. We know everyone says that. But we are different because we acknowledge that flexible and simple insurance solutions are an important cornerstone to the economic empowerment of Africa’s people, and we are committed to creating an environment that empowers businesses and people to take control of the things that matter most to them.
