Company Description:

Concordis International is a non-profit charity organisation that works alongside and in support of official peace processes, where they exist, to improve the potential for lasting peace. We have offices in Cambridge, Khartoum and Juba.  The organisation was born of The Newick Park Iniative (NPI) in 2004 although work on our Peacebuilding Programme started before this in 1999. The NPI had been involved in both South Africa and Rwanda.

Much of our work now focuses on Sudan and South Sudan and we remain actively engaged there both nationally and with respect to regional conflicts, including Darfur.  There is an emphasis on gender awareness within programmes and women from Darfur and elsewhere in Sudan have played a prominent role in the process.
