Cordaid combines more than 90 years’ experience and expertise in emergency aid and structural poverty eradication. We are one of the biggest international development organisations with a network of almost a thousand partner organisations in 36 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The Cordaid Field Office in Nairobi is rolling out an European Commission Humanitarian Aid Department (ECHO) funded Drought Emergency Assistance 2011 in Moyale, Marsabit, Isiolo, Samburu and Mandera districts. The project will run for the next 8-9 months.

This is a drought emergency response project in Kenya and in line with Drought Cyce Management and Community managed Disaster Risk Reduction strategies and will be implemented by a Cordaid Emergency Team in collaboration with by a number of local facilitating organizations/partner organizations of Cordaid.
