Help Lesotho ( www.helplesotho.ca ) is a Canadian NGO transforming the lives of over 9,000 children, youth, and grandmothers in the tiny mountain Kingdom of Lesotho, in sub-Saharan Africa, a country with the world’s third highest rate of HIV/AIDS. The King of Lesotho is the patron of this fast growing, well-respected and effective organization. Help Lesotho meets both relief and development challenges through child sponsorship, 15 partner schools, a grandmother support program and its extensive youth leadership development and training programs. Gender equity and HIV/AIDS education are embedded in all programs.
