Company Description:

MEDS is a registered trust of the ecumenical partnership of Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) and Kenya Episcopal Conference (KEC) and a lead partner in a consortium of local partners, KEC, CHAK and University of Nairobi (UoN).

The program provides high quality care and treatment and is being transitioned to Local Partners by a Consortium of four international partners – Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), Futures Group and the Institute of Human Virology, University of Maryland (UOM-IHV).

CRS is currently the Prime and is leading the transition process. AIDSRelief (AR) is funded through the US Government’s President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).

AR is a multi-year multi-million dollar project that has been delivering high quality anti-retroviral therapy (ART) to more than 44,000 Kenyans in the past seven years.
