 PAYU Computing Ltd. is a new start-up based in Tanzania with the goal of making the Internet and computers available to those who cannot afford these tools in the developing world.

PAYU aims at expanding the use of computers and Internet in African countries in an affordable and sustainable way. We have developed a technology platform that provides computers with a wireless Internet connection together with an array of locally hosted software packages.

The use of thin Clients and wireless mesh distribution makes our solution cheap and scalable. We offer a choice between two payment plans: the familiar pay-as-you-go or monthly subscriptions.

We are looking to create a sustainable, profit-oriented computing solution that will encourage uninitiated clients to exploit the power of computers.
