Malaria Consortium (MC) is an international organization dedicated to the control of malaria and other communicable diseases throughout Africa and Southeast Asia. The Malaria Consortium Africa office, based in Kampala, Uganda, provides support to seven country offices in Africa as well as implementing work in many more countries.

Malaria Consortium works closely with Ministries of Health and other development and technical partners in African countries at policy, strategy and implementation levels, as well as undertaking operational research as part of our programme evaluation strategy. Case management of malaria, TB, diarrhea, respiratory tract infections and neglected tropical diseases forms a key part of our work, both in stable and post-conflict settings. Malaria Consortium recently secured a five year grant to carry out operational research on integrated community case management (iCCM) in Mozambique and Uganda.
