NIC Bank Group is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary having been incorporated in Kenya on 29th September 1959. Since then, the Bank has grown and diversified significantly to become a fully-fledged, full service commercial bank, and with other dedicated business lines such as securities trading (NIC Securities), investment banking (NIC Capital) and Bancassurance.

The Bank has been publicly listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange since 1971 with now over 23,000 shareholders, and is ranked within the top ten banks in Kenya. With regard to the footprint, the Bank has full service branches in Nairobi, Meru, Nakuru, Kisumu, Thika and Mombasa. In addition, NIC Bank Group owns a majority stake in Tanzania’s Savings & Finance Commercial Bank which has branches in Mwanza, Arusha and Dar-es-Salaam.
